i`m back. just came back after the SATS thing. =) long hours man!

thank god thats finally over. and the chemistry test on friday too! wasn`t as easy as ms toh said! but ah well, who cares right. since its over and there`s like no point crying abt spilled milk. next one is econs. more writing. till my hands would hurt. TSK

caught a movie with desmond and shawn on fridayy. the show was. . . .NOT that interesting yeah? LOL. only the ending was unexpected. thank god wasn`t late for choir, my wallet won`t be able to take it!

this year is really the year to focus. it`s kindof make or break. i`m ever so determined to make it, if not all my effort, though not alot, would be for naught. hey, it kindof rhymes.

ah! so many resolutions. wonder if i`ll see them through.

you know that day when my class did the johari`s window thing, your friend from your group was supposed to write something abt you. yeah, claudia wrote something that made me think. she wrote ' i think you aren`t what you seem ' hahaa. which i think it`s totally true. i guess everyone has a facade they hide behind of at times. just that, for me, i can`t really identify which is real and not anymore. i finally reasoned to myself that i`d probably be the REAL me doing something i like best or with someone close. hahaha. wth.

imagine losing yourself in the process of. . . whatever man. i guess theres just so many different sides to me. so maybe all are REAL, just that i take whatever mood strikes me at the particular point of time. LOL. kindof like changing clothes, thinking of the theme for the particular day.

Haha. Finally decided to blog abt the trip. =) i`m scared that if I wait too long to blog, the memories will disappear slowly, just like bubbles in a bath tub.

11th December. 12th December too!
Arrived at the airport nearly bursting with excitement. The atmosphere was electrifying—like a loose wire working through the crowd, spreading the high voltages everywhere with due speed. Checked in, and took a group photo of the whole choir. Boarded the plane, sat with joey andd wingki. Couldn`t slp all night! Was watching some quite boring movie. Yeah, and my chair couldn`t be pushed all the way back, due to some pple`s long legs. Ahaha. Spent the remainder of the flight talking (: we saw the beautiful sky, the various myriad of colours dancing upon the windowplane, inviting us, enticing.

Finally touched down at Fukuoka airport. Talked crap to Huili Jirong and Darrell—who would be my crap-mates for the entire trip. Muahaha. Soon we were separated into our different groups to get into our respective coaches. The bulk of the guys were in coach TWO. The air was damn refreshing! Opened the windows of the coach to feel COLD. Haha. We were en route Mt Aso, tuas quite a long journey there. A lot of pple started slpinggg! Wth. Ahah. So Mikhail had a bright idea, we(me, him plus alloy) decided to guess what colour the truck driver would wear, as in the t-shirt. Prior to seeing it. it entertained us for alil while. Den we all started to drift off to sleep.

Japan is really a place filled with the omnipresent colour : grey. It`s sucha EMO colour. Though, somehow, with the splashes of the hue, orange and yellow, the land seems to burst aflame with character. Luminescent wonders. Absolutely gorgeous, quaint houses and spectacular scenery. Arrived at Mt Aso, and had lil time to really explore. We were all starving by lunchtime.

Spent almost the whole day traveling. Alternating between sleeping and talking. Was quite late when we arrived at the Kyusen-do Lime Stone Cave. Everyone was relieved to get off the coach. Huili and xuelian started taking sneaky shots of pple, and even backward shots. Quite spastic. The whole place was full of our shouts. Darrell was like entertaining me with his kuku-ness. The place was filled with staircases! Omg. Climb like crazy ahahha. Started getting hot in the cave.

It was night when we left the cave. Funny how the nights there arrive much quicker. Creeping in, when we least expect it. the coach ride back was full of ghost stories, courtesy of the guys who started it. who kept making me and xuelian scared. STUPID! Telling us superstitious tales, and things to do before entering a hotel room. Freaked us out. Had choir practice before dinner. Sang carols. Poor Yanting had sore throat! Had to find a partner of an opposite sex. Aloy came to find me, but ms ong said we can`t partner due to HEIGHT differences! Ahahha. Wth. Trying t say i`m short la pls! in the end partnered with Darrell. When he`s like taller than aloy! Okaye, so we had to do this dumb exercise. The person must hold the other persons stomach and back, like a burger. And tilt the person. While the one being tilted has to sing. Damn challenging pls. I obviously couldn`t hold Darrell when it was my turn to.

HAH. Hmms, had to look the person in the eye while singing too. Which was quite awkward. HOW TO? Haha. Oh, and we kept singing the verses with the wrong words. Or rather, I sang funny words. Ahaha! Kept laughing. Had dinner too! Pictures of dinner.

Went to the hot spring. The girls and guys had different allocated times? Yeahh. IT WAS HOT. Ahha. Ur ass really will feel like its burning when you try sitting in the water. The outdoor hotspring was nice. With the cold air above, and the warm water below. Bliss =)

Girls had more choir practices after the hot spring. Rushed like mad. Aha. Ehm. Lazy to blog already! Ahha. More next time! On the rest of the days!

haha. i`ve thought of closing down this blog. it`s devoid of privacy, though it would kindof render me completely unreachable to people whom i am not as closed to in reality. people who i don`t get to see in my daily life. lol. its some kindof irony actually.

anyhow, life has certainly changed.

the promos are over for one. life is still alil stressful, albeit in a different light. there`s like choir consuming most of my time, and still the many PW stuff to contend with. wanted to work with des and all but couldn`t get committed. LOL. money is nt enough motivation for me huh.

in choir, you know i really don`t exactly LOVE sectionals. though i know its definitely essential. perhaps it`s just that the reality of being a 'mentor' hits me. and there`s the sense of immense responsibility too. one wrong beat or timing or note off the keyboard or piano and i`m rendering the choir open to disharmony amongst the chords. i`m in the process of learning to teach better, and with more patience too, and all the crap of teaching a large group. hahaha. certainly not like dunearn choir, where sectionals were alot easier due to the song selection.

i love combined though. even the scoldings, for they make us fear. they make us cower and feel like we haven`t done enough, or practiced enough. i sure hope they make my entire section feel this way. haha. okaye fine, at least my sop2s. LOL

whats overcome me to write abt choir. tsk.

perhaps since thats abt what my life revolves around with, coupled with those pw stuff and those meetings with friends. oh, and SHOPPING. but thats abt it. haha. not to mention alot of books. =) i read.

still have yet to meet cathleen due to all those ongoing project stuff. ahha. we`ll meet soon!

lots of plans still unfulfilled. i can`t wait for vcd marathons and movies at malaysia and all the crap. cause i sure knw i won`t be able to do this next year. as in, before the A levels. next year would just be a mad rush of completing tutorials, choir, studies. so i guess i`ll take take time to enjoy whatever life i have left. i need this relaxation to be able to last me that ONE year. hohoh

anyway, just wanted to say i don`t regret coming to PJ at all.

hmms. today, we spent our two hours break playing games at the santuary! (: EHM. monopoly, guess who, anddd BATTLESHIP! haha. samuel says i have no childhood. okaye, todays one of the rare days that i don`t have any hmwk to be handed up tmr. how amazing. so i went to take a shut eye at 8! till NOW. ahaha. i just woke up. its really quite nice. i`ve been catching up on my slp. cuz ytd i didn`t go to sch, and the doctor diagnosed me as having stomach influenza, and contrary to what dumb desmond says, it doesn`t mean my stomach is having flu! ahhaah. had PE today. quite a nice time. the weather was damn nice. but coming to the end, it was so cold out there! with lightning and thunder. he dismissed us early. not being able to go home, we played cards as usual. LOL. initially at the canteen but we were being assulted by the unrelentless rain! so we migrated to the concourse. think we made quite alot of noise. i learnt bridge! HAHA. played murderer after that!

you know, i really miss that game. first we played the wink eye type! AHAH. i kept getting caught, cause of DUMB kiat heong. who like totally gave me away each time i KILLED him with my eyes. LOL. ass. but also cuz i kept laughing la. den we went up a notch, to do the squeeze hands one. i could so control myself. few pple caught me! AHHA.exciting.

after playing, met w shawn they all and they gave us this stupid idea. proceeded to the parade square with desmond n whoever. to do something. SO SPASTIC CAN. i kept laughing only.

AHAHA. today is BYFAR the worse day of my life. all the bad-luck congregating and wrecking havoc in sucha short span of time. waha. looking two hours back, its kindof amazing how much i`ve went through. sounds damn drama. but seriously, it really happened can.

went with the class to eat macs before the listening compre. tried to trick simin into hitting her palm into the connoction of mayo, curry sauce and chilli sauce. LOL. didn`t work as we planned though, even with the our heavenly intervention ( the girls of course! US! ) yada yada.

started to rain just as we left macs. was super drenched and had to run back to sch. we came to this HILL--okaye, not really, but its this quite steep slope next to the pavillion! yahh. it was raining damn heavily by that time, and us, being stupid fools. followed another fool`s suggestion to run down the damn slope. HAHA. desmond went first. den i went. i nearly reached the bottom. waha. but slipped towards the end, cause we RAN, and couldn`t really stop in time due to the lack of friction! (why must friction be absent now, of all times!) tsk. okaye. there were this group of j2`s watching this. how amusing.

okaye. reached the shelter towards sch already! wanted to rush as we were gonna be late, and guess what! I SLIPPED and fell again. this time on my ass. LOL. wah. how suey, you tell me! =( den i thought it was quite stupid and funny. den i just kept laughing like some derenged person. it continued to pourrrrr. and we went to sch, ehm. me not running anymore, cause of my klutz-ness for the day. went school soaking wet, hair astray, feeling damn dumb! we didn`t even know the venue and our index number, so rushed to check. on my way there, i WALKED into a chair! bench, whatever!

took our impt stuff, and rushed. followed the wrong person! we went to follow cheeping n des before realising we`re in the wrong class. rushed upstairs to 3rd floor. den someone told us we`re in the second floor. den rushed down and up and down n up. yeahh. you get the gist man. in total, abt four times ok. OMG. shoes were soaked due to the damn puddles on the floor. went in late. there were two seats. me n wenny. we sat in the wrong SEAT. den we exchanged seats.

when the exam scripts were being passed out, i realised that the index number was different from the one printed on my entry proof. i went to ask the teacher. turns out that, i had wenny`s entry proof, and vice versa. OMG. how dumb. we didn`t even know we exchanged that la. the whole thing was just hilarious and stupid.

the bad luck stopped there. just that we were cold n wet throughout. the fan just above me. lol.

OKAYE. lets think optimistic. at least i wasn`t alone finding for the class. at least i didn`t fall a third time, which i actually nearly did while running down the stairs like some mad pple. at least the paper was easy and our answers when compared are actually VERY similar. and ehm. at least, the bad luck only started after school. HAHA. anyhow, with the total USAGE of my bad luck quota. i think the rest of the year would be dammit good. it better be!

heh. juat told me that the song, stranger is paradise, the tenors get to sing a damn nice part. no la. as in their whole part is damn nice! I can`t wait to hear. HAHA. at the bible house, we`re bound to go mad. AHHA. i wanna be a tenor, or a bass! HEH. yeahh. the hokkien song, she said the sops part is nice! so i can`t wait to learn it. muahaha.

HAHA! my group finally met up for PW today! discussed some stuff! ((: mainly to do with our GPP! we found out that we couldn`t get the signal for the internet at lot one`s macs! after eating LONG JOHN. we went to yew tee macs. the place is much nicer LOL.

we didn`t do our powerpoint there. haha. in the end we allocated the work so that we could go home and broood over it, and find those silly data we needed. SUCKS. shall embark on it after this entry!

called shawn up and we decided to head to town. me des and shawnnn. quite nice la. wanted to watch movie initially, but we didn`t have the MOOD. so we just walked around. i bought two tops from zara today! (: i keep spending. okaye. no more spending from now on. anyhow, after that we just kept walking around. we found this super cool shop that sold nice funny stuff (((: WAHA. i think i know what to get for dominic HAHA. anticipate man!

OHYA. we ate carls jr for dinner! OMG. i FORCED myself to eat every bit of that humongous burger. almost puked during the last mouthful. too big a mouth. tears were like coming out pls. WAHA. desmond and shawn were shocked. hahaa. summore told me where the toilet was. kuku shawn even asked me to take plastic bag from carrefour just in case i puke in the bus. LOL. nothing happened though. that shawn couldn`t finish his burger! heh. lao ya POK.

ohh! we went in search of a toilet! we went to this scary scary building! the highest FLOOR. omg. so eerie. just in front of the lift was the toilet. not a single soul was in sight! actually i felt it was okaye. just me, in the handicapped toilet. until i came out, des n shawn kept telling me something wasn`t right, that it was too eerie. OMG> i freaked out like AHHA. we all RUSHED into the lift okaye. lucky i didn`t go to the girls toilet alone. i`ll die of fright. the lift journey was super long. the seconds felt like hours. so SLOW!

anyhow, i just watched a damn damn good movie. okaye, it`s quite OLD la. V for vendetta. i really enjoyed it. seriously. it really touched me. there were some twists too! and that added to the value. the spoken english used (((: SUPERB. wonder if i were in that kindof oppressed country, where everyone is dictated. how would i react to it. would i even dare to join the force which encapsulates my ideals instead of blindly following orders from the higher echelons? would i fear death? once a person isn`t scared of fear, he is free.

wondering why i`m blogging now? ahhaa. after the test our group went to long john`s for breakfast. actually wenny wanted to go town for a movie. BUT, it`s kindof retarded to go town to watch movie and come back. because i`m going out later! lol. everyone seemed tired. the consensus was that we go home! wenny! she`s the man another day alright? ahah

HELLO! just came back from a day trip from malaysia! haha. went to malacca. quite historical. MUAHAHA.

went to eat, enjoy, learn HISTORY. kindof. cathleen is going for some camp starting today! and dominic left for sydney today! how sad. two of my best friends LEFT ABRUPTLY. haha! i should really be studying. the weather is OH-SO-PERFECT. for sleeping. my sister is gonna cook dinner tonight! wahaha. shall see how it turns out

my brother was damn sweet just now. usually he`s annoying and all. but he helped me draw the curtains, put on the covers, and switch off the light before leaving me to sleep peacefully in HIS room. wahaha. so nice. kindof a rare occurance. since he`s usually pesky!

actually, i can`t WAIT for the two years to come to an end. it`ll be when my life will really start. another shot at life. (:

its not that i dislike my life. i love it alot. thank you very much. i love choir. i love my class. i even kindof like the teachers at school. its just that, we`re still stuck in a school system (JC) while others are in the poly are already experiencing something different. it makes them so much more independent, to be able to make choices--to decide whether to skip school that particular day, to wear what you feel on that particular day. heels, flats, jeans, skirts, tees, shorts. to express their emotions through their attire and wardrobe.develop and hone their sense of style. a large sprawling campus that allows for excerise! it kindof is a preparation of university life where obviously, everyone wants to land up in eventually. i seem so PRO-poly

that aside, the jc curriculum suits me better. even though there`s always a whirlpool of activity. we have to regurgitate and memorise endlessly. though definitely, understanding is the key for scoring. despite the hectic flurry of mind-blowing activities, i have really enjoyed. in a manner i never deemed possible. though we`re still very much constricted, in terms of the many rules and regulations kept in place by the draconian dm`s. i have come to really enjoy the eclectic choir songs. i have a new circle of friends. though the old ones i`ll defnitely still keep! (:

i want to experience what it`s like to EARN a living. where i actually WORK for money. its the first step to stepping out of my comfort zone. my pampered, sheltered life, i will willingly shed in exchange for something new. actually i really despise those pple that keep demanding money from their parents. not as in allowance, but additional money, be it for shopping and other materialistic demands. granted, i am materialistic, and am certainly not ashamed of admitting it. but at least i pay for all these myself, through saving. unlike my brother, who keeps buying those super expensive stuff. with my parents money. tsk. just lectured him just now.

anyhow nth much really happened these few days. just MORE school and choir daily. haha. choir on thursday was seriously fun, cuz we learnt a song that`s in finnish? haha. anddd the song contained alot of super uber cute sounds that sounds spastic! quite a tribal feel to it. yeap! but the choir practice ytd was harder. in the sense that ytd was the first time we had to teach the new songs to the rest. but it was still alright. we learnt 'tea for two.' a very jazzy feel! ahah. i love it when the tenors? sing a particular line. very sexy! ytd was great! seriously. i loved the choir. its really amazing to watch a choir of that standard. if you didn`t know. i went for the AJC concert. :D

it`s evident from even their expressions that they have the passion for singing. if only our choir was this good. not that ours is lousy. it`s just that the pple aren`t that absorbed into singing? as in, they don`t FEEL the music. and i`ll just leave it hanging like that.
their costume was quite nice too? classic.

haha. andd there were some cute guys singing too? hahaha! got one quite pretty girl too! (: but she`s an alumni. eye candy!

remember the times we used to play around in class. the maggie noodle club. where we`d use the 'stolen' flask to cook our noodle. remember stealing chopsticks from the auntie downstairs? remember our secret language that no one could decipher. the code where we would say and we all understood instantly. sunny and the jukebox? remember singing duets in class just before PE. going down for PE late, and sauntering there like you were the first one there. remember cheating for napha? in sec 3 of course. remember the soccer we`d play as a class, united as one.

i remember the time i used to stand outside the girls toilet to do work. during peer tutoring. cuz i couldn`t concentrate in the noisy class. i rmb stanley talking to me there. watching soccer there just before mr oh`s lesson. and ain and aisyah would be telling us ' mr oh come alr!'. rmb bangseh-ing our peer tutees. and the peer tutors sitting in a grp together. rushing so that we could go back or out. ASAP. rmb the long hours in school. everyday that ended at 5 plus 6? i even rmb the time i stood outside, and did work on some dustbin cuz i was pissed off.

the long talks we had in the toilet. somehow, the toilet made us have the mood to tell our xin shi there? sad stories, funny stories. haha. splashing water at our classmates. disturbing the pple inside the toilet peeing. i can rmb the time when the third level toilets couldn`t be flushed! gross. haha. i rmb spilling the tray of milo drinks in the canteen. so suey.

ytd we finally had our roadrun n orientation campfire! hahaha. it was rather fun (: even though the rest of the orientation was indefinitely less exciting n thrilling in comparison to the previous one. but to me, the campfire was better this time. maybe it`s because of the venue? or the fine weather? or even the atmosphere. hahaha. desmond cy n kiat ran away from their OG to join me at POLO! haha. funfun. i even danced with desmond! hahaha. first time! the day before i danced the mass dance with samuel. wahaha.

actually i might be more attached with my group if i hadn`t always ran away at the slightest opportunity. but anyway. the pple there were not SO my type. hahahah! maybe i would have tried harder to make more friends if i didn`t go for O1. O1 was the blast! haha. my group was super fun! i really miss them! and those who left PJC already. pple like yingqi.yingjing. but at least i caught up with them ytd! haha. seriously missed.

anyway my class is gonna be rather fun. there`s sheila. wenny. lisi. samuel. desmond.kiat. and the marcus lookalike! hahaha. but the rest don`t seem to be that fun or what la. or maybe it`ll take time for them to warm up to us. but actually i don`t really fancy the teacher. but o well. you can`t have everything. i just hope that we`ll keep it neutral between us. cuz i don`t think she fancies us THAT much too.

haha. btw i actually LIKE PJ`s uniform. but i hate the rules. eg the earrings part. and the one where the ear studs must be of a specific colour! black. white or silver. lol. no bigger than a DOT too. hais. then liddat must keep taking off and putting on my earrings. like previously in dunearn. :\ MAFAN. ytd shawn had his ipod nano confiscated! haha. he`s seriously pissed off!
